Director of Recreation Ministry

Tim will be on board as our Director of Recreation Ministry in our Christian Life Facility (CLC) at the end of May. For thirteen months, he (and Vickie) felt led to serve our troops in Ar Ramadi, Iraq, as Recreation Coordinator.

He received Christ into his life as an early teen.  His desire since then has been to serve the Lord and be obedient in all that He calls and leads him to do.

Tim served as Minister of Recreation at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church in Dothan, AL.  Prior to Dothan, he served as Recreation Specialist for the Federal Bureau of Prisons, in Ft. Worth TX.  He has been involved in recreation ministry since 1986, and brings an abundance of experience to First Baptist Church.

He received a BA-Religion and BS-Church Recreation from the University of Mobile. He has a Master of Divinity from Southwestern BTS, Ft. Worth TX.

Serving beside him for the past 31years as wife, mother of his children and chief supporter of his ministry is his gracious wife, Vickie.  They have two married daughters, Amy and Lori and two grandsons.

Please pray for Tim, Vickie and their ministry here at First Baptist Church.  Pray for G od’s leadership in their finding a place to live, and a smooth transition from Dothan to Fort Walton Beach.
