Director of Student Ministries

Jeff is a local boy who graduated from Choctaw High School and attended Okaloosa-Walton Community College. It was during his years at CHS that he surrendered his life to the Lord. Once entering into a relationship with the Lord, Jeff joined First Baptist Church of Fort Walton Beach. "This church meant everything to me as a young man and it is an honor to give back by serving as its Student Minister," said Jeff McDonald. In February of 1999, Jeff married the love of his life, Beth McDonald. Jeff and Beth have two children, C.J. and Jake, who keep their lives very busy and full of excitement!

Jeff has served as Student Minister at several local churches since 2000 before being called to FBC of FWB. He will begin pursuing a degree in Religious Studies this coming fall from Liberty University. He is excited to be leading a growing group of students in understanding what it means to love God with all your heart and to also love people, revealing God's glory to them through His love!

Jeff's favorite Bible verse is, 1 Corinthians 9:24, " Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it."
