THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! Ft. Walton First reached into our
community in incredible ways on Saturday and it was a complete team
effort. This was a beautiful representation of the body of Christ at
work. Just so you know, we had teams who did baking, prepared and
served breakfast and lunch mostly behind the scenes. Our children
went to 3 nursing homes as well as police and fire departments to
deliver bibs handmade by many of our ladies, and baked goodies for
the men and women who serve our community tirelessly. We had one of
our own that for the second year made a basket of snacks and goodies
and delivered to the sub-station where she lives on behalf of Ft.
Walton First to thank them for their service. We had 3 guys
traveling and capturing these moments on film. Finally we had crews
at the following: Bridgeway, Choctaw High, Habitat for Humanity,
Sharing and Caring, Boys and Girls Club, Bruner Middle, ECMI,
Kenwood Elementary, Okaloosa/Walton Child Care, Silver Sands School,
Westwood, Elliott Point Elementary, Pryor Middle, Children in
Crisis, Fresh Start, United Cerebral Palsy and individual yardwork
at homes. Please continue to pray for the people who live or work at
these places that their eyes will be opened to the love of Jesus and
know that He is the reason we came out to love them. |
